Aquavai is designed to connect to standard handheld-shower hose fittings, making it compatible with most existing handheld shower setups. Installation does not require permanent changes to your shower.
Very easy. Aquavai is designed for at-home installation and requires no plumber or permanent changes to your shower. Simply remove your existing showerhead, attach Aquavai, and tighten the connections. Installation should take only a few minutes.
Aquavai is designed to maintain a strong, satisfying shower while water passes through its dual-filter system. Its showerhead and filtration system are engineered to work together so you can filter your shower water without sacrificing the shower experience.
For best filtration performance, we recommend replacing Aquavai’s filters approximately every 2 to 3 months. Actual filter life can vary depending on household usage and local water quality. Each Aquavai replacement pack contains both filters required to refresh the complete dual-filter system.
Aquavai’s multi-stage filtration system is designed to reduce common shower-water contaminants and water-quality issues, including chlorine, dissolved metals, iron and other impurities. It also incorporates specialized scale-control media designed to help reduce mineral deposits and limescale formation.
Rather than relying on a single filtration material, Aquavai uses multiple specialized media, with each performing a different job as water moves through the system.
Your skin and hair are exposed to shower water every day. Chlorine and other substances in tap water can contribute to dryness and can affect how your skin and hair feel after showering.
Aquavai reduces these unwanted substances before the water reaches you. The result is cleaner shower water that’s gentler on your skin and hair, helping skin feel less dry and hair feel softer and more manageable.
Most shower filters rely on a single cartridge or a limited number of filtration materials. Aquavai was designed differently.
Its proprietary dual-filter architecture places specialized filtration media in both the handle and showerhead, allowing different stages to perform different jobs as the water travels through Aquavai.
The handle filter uses three specialized stages: Chloroshield™, AquaRedox™ and Metal Guard™. Together they target chlorine and dissolved metals using calcium sulfite, copper-zinc redox media and selective ion-exchange media.
The circular showerhead filter uses Mineral Guard™ for scale, rust and particles, followed by Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) for residual chlorine and other unwanted compounds.
